Seasonal Yoga - Spring Workshop

Seasonal Yoga - Spring Workshop In this wonderful 2 hour workshop, we will explore gentle yoga postures, self massage and Yin yoga to bring a sense of balance and ease into our bodies. We will learn about the Spring meridians (energy channels) and will be guided in a yoga practice to activate the meridians that bring together yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine. At the end of this practice we will have time to rest in Shavasana while listening to the soothing sounds of the Tibetan Bowl.

When: Saturday, May 18 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Cost: $35

Bring: Yoga Mat, firm blanket, and block if you have one.


Chakra System 101

Please join Kathleen on Saturday, June 1 for a Chakra System 101 workshop. In this class you will learn:

         - What are chakras? 

         - Techniques to help with balancing your chakra system and ease anxiety/depression.

         - Meditation techniques to connect with your higher self and create the life of your dreams.

         - Tools to learn how to sense/feel your own chakra system.

Kathleen has been studying/teaching yoga, Buddhism and esoteric studies since 2008 with Divine Powerhouse, Diamond Cutter Institute and the Modern Mystery School. She is currently completing her Masters in Counseling at Oakland University and in her free time enjoys traveling and anything outdoors with her sweet husband.

Join Monique, a certified Oxygen Advantage Advanced Instructor, for a transformative three-part workshop series designed to help you optimize your breathing patterns for improved health and vitality. Over consecutive weeks, Monique will guide you through learning how to check your own metrics and explain how the biochemical, biomechanical, and psychophysiological aspects of your individual breath pattern is affecting your everyday life in more ways than you think. You will be provided with the tools and techniques to learn how to gradually adapt your breathing through Breath-At-Rest Awareness to effectively balance your nervous system at your command. Learn how to enhance oxygen uptake in your body, decrease breathlessness, and breathe for increased energy levels, better focus, and improved sleep quality. Additionally, Monique will show you how to integrate proper breathing techniques into your daily activities for enhanced well-being so you can optimize your breathing on-the-go.

Mind Body Classes

Zen Flow

Find your inner peace through the art of fluid movement. A unique blend of asana with the perfect amount of strength and ease. Increase flexibility and mobility while breathing and moving through longer held forms. A moving meditation to the sound of carefully curated music enables you to cultivate a sense of peace in your mind, body and spirit.


Mommy and Me Core restore

You should not have to choose between moving your body and spending time with your babies. In this kid friendly workout class, we will be diving into some restorative moves that allows you to connect back to your postpartum body, build foundational all over body strength, and make memories with your babies...all at the same time. This class is for you whether you are newly postpartum or have been a mama for several years. Modifications will be provided to meet individual needs.


Meditative movement

In this class, we will explore the freedom of mind and body! You will be guided in focused breathing while concentrating on an affirmation card you’ve drawn for yourself or a thought of your own, and then guided in allowing your body to move the way it feels driven to move (or not move). Allow yourself self-expression and relaxation with the smallest movement or dance it out in this safe space. Namaste



Tai Chi

In this Tai Chi class, you'll explore the harmonious fusion of movement and meditation often described as "meditation in motion" or a graceful health dance. You will learn gentle Qigong warm-ups, focusing on slow, deliberate movements that engage all major joints. These exercises promote balance, coordination, and proprioception, laying the groundwork for Tai Chi's unique blend of physical movement, mindfulness, and controlled breathing. This class welcomes you to embark on a journey of self-discovery through the ancient art of Tai Chi. Attendees should wear comfortable shoes and loose-fitting clothes. No floor mat is required.


Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is primarily practiced in floor poses on the mat. While Yang yoga classes work on your body’s muscle, Yin focuses on deeper connective tissues like tendons, fascia and ligaments. Poses are passively held for 3+ minutes with a focus on the lower body-the hips, pelvis, inner thighs and lower spine. Practitioners are encouraged to use props for support during yin’s longer holds.


Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga is utilized to achieve balance between body and mind, as well as attempting to free the more subtle spiritual elements of the mind through physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditation. This class is for all levels.


Rise and Align

This gentle slow flow class is a slower paced practice that links breathe to movement to awaken and restore the body. This class aims to enhance your physical, mental and emotional well being while celebrating all body types, levels and abilities. This class will calm the body and clear the mind.


Ecstatic Movement

One hour of rhythmic movement, dancing to the beat of your own inner drum. This class is designed to bring you fully into your body, to meet your breath and move and groove to the rhythm of your heart and soul. A semi-guided, dynamic hour that challenges one to let go, open up, and move organically. Here we can find alignment and create a healthy space to release stress, move stagnant energy, increase vitality, and restore balance. All bodies, minds and spirits welcome- NO DANCE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :)!


Breathe and Paint

Are you curious about breathwork? Would you enjoy an hour to decompress at the start of your week? Do you like dabbling in color?

Join Monique for our Breathe & Paint class, where you'll explore mindfulness and creativity through simple breathing exercises and watercolor painting. No experience needed – all materials provided! Let Monique guide you in grounding yourself with easy breath techniques designed to improve oxygen uptake, then let your creativity flow as you explore with watercolors with new awareness. Each week we will focus on a different theme and you get to take home your small keepsake creation as a reminder of the peace and creativity you discovered during this class.
